Memorial Day weekend may be the traditional start of summer, but someone forgot to tell the weather in Seattle. At least I won't get sunburnt, working in the yard.
And the lilies look gorgeous..

Yes, this has definitely not been the best weather. Your lilies are really pretty! Mine are nowhere near blooming yet.
Catherine--That's funny, since your yard is normally a couple weeks ahead of mine, even though it's only a couple miles away! :)
The early lilies will be glorious this week, if it warms up at all. The daylilies just popped bloom spikes, so blooms can't be far behind!
Meg, thanks for stopping by. Your lily is gorgeous! You said your garden is a cacophany of color - you can always describe it as 'exuberant'! I have so many colors on the different plants that I have to show some restraint somewhere.
